“Café Sarmayeh” is the title of an event held with the support of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter to attract investment for startups.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, one of the concerns of new businesses is attracting investors, who trust these businesses and enter the field to support their activities. Meanwhile, “Café Sarmayeh” is an event supported by the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter and held with the cooperation of Iran national science foundation, Iranian ICT Guild Organization, information technology organization, and Iran chamber of commerce, industries, mines and agriculture.

“Café Sarmayeh” is a capital-generating event with the goal of laying the foundation for growth of startups and facilitating the attraction of capital. Therefore, it could be recognized as a gathering, where companies, legal and actual investors and a group of startups are present. The event will be held September 21^st-22^nd, 2019 in Iran national science foundation.

The main goal of this event is acceleration of technology by conducting private meetings between startups and investors. More than one thousand investment meetings have been held between investors and startups. In addition, more than 150 investors and 200 startups have attended the four rounds of the event, resulting in the attraction of more than 16 billion tomans for startups.
